The pastor of Syunik Tegh community appeared in the territory under the control of Azerbaijan. This information was confirmed by the municipality in a conversation with CivilNet.

An alarm was addressed to the RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan that “today 4 Azerbaijani armed servicemen arrested the resident of Tegh village of Tegh community of RA Syunik region and his sheep with criminal acts.” Tatoyan particularly noted.

“According to the alarm, the resident of the Republic of Armenia grazed his sheep in the pasture at the intersection of Tegh, Aravus and Khnatsakh villages.

At around 15:30, 4 armed servicemen of Azerbaijan, noticing the civilian of the Republic of Armenia, came down from their positions, about 150 meters away, shouting at him, dragging him and using force towards him towards Tsitsernavank. It is about raising 400-450 sheep together with the resident. The alarm has been adjusted. These circumstances are eyewitness accounts.

According to additional clarification, the representatives of the Russian Border Guard Service were informed about the incident, who are working to return the RA citizen and his sheep.

“This alarm testifies to the criminal encroachment on the life, personal freedom and property rights of the RA civilian by the criminal actions of the Azerbaijani armed servicemen.”
