Subsidy programs related to communities in Armenia will undergo changes, the relevant decision was made at the January 13 sitting of the government.
According to the new decision, the share of state funding in the process of building kindergartens in border and highland communities will reach 70-80%, and the rest will be financed by the community. As Nikol Pashinyan stated at the government session, this fits within the framework of the government’s goal of building 500 kindergartens in five years.
With the new subvention regulations, communities can install fiber-optic cable with government-sponsored high-speed Internet connections. This will be financed by the government up to 55%.
The share of government co-financing will increase in irrigation and drinking water network construction programs, asphalting programs.
