The statement of the Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement referring to the words of the President of Azerbaijan Ilyam Ali. The announcement is completely below.
In a recent interview with a number of media outlets, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilyam Ali, referring to the settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict and regional processes, again used anti-Armenian, destructive, expansionist vocabulary և ideas, voicing their corresponding programs and goals.
Such a policy is a gross violation of international law, international humanitarian law and the agreements reached. It aims to torpedo peace and stability initiatives and dismantle existing scales.
The Azeri leader also specifically targeted the peacekeeping mission of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, one of the co-chairing countries, the Russian Federation in Artsakh, making absurd accusations against their activities.
The quota of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs is the only quota agreed between all parties to the settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict.
We highly appreciate the mission of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Artsakh and consider any attempt to cast a shadow over their activities unacceptable.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Artsakh Republic strongly condemns the behavior of Azerbaijan, being convinced that such a policy implemented at the state level should be properly assessed by the international community as well,” the statement reads.
