Arman Tatoyan took part in the meeting of the Eurasian Alliance of Ombudsmen
On October 28, RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan took part in the 6th meeting of the Eurasian Ombudsmen Alliance, dedicated to the protection of youth rights.
The meeting was also attended by heads of national human rights institutions of Russia, Iran, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and a number of other countries, as well as heads of state bodies of the Russian Federation.
In his speech, Arman Tatoyan greeted the participants of the session, then presented the experience of establishing the Defender, stressing that they pay special attention to information on the rules for the safe use of children on the Internet. In particular, Arman Tatoyan presented the experience of organizing a joint training with the Human Rights Defender and the “Kaspersky” company on the safe use of the Internet for teachers of informatics.
According to the source, the participants in the meeting agreed to pay special attention to expanding socio-economic measures to support youth, promoting the creation of councils for the protection of youth at human rights institutions.
It is noted that representatives of national human rights institutions, who participated in the meeting, used effective cooperation of partner organizations in protecting the rights of youth.
