The CSTO special session was held on the basis of the application of the President of Kazakhstan.
In his speech during the sitting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted ․ “The situation in Kazakhstan is of particular concern to us in terms of providing information on the involvement of international terrorist organizations. Not so long ago, we ourselves encountered the emergence of foreign terrorists in our region. “
“It should be emphasized that one of the key priorities of our presidency is the strengthening of the Organization’s crisis response mechanisms. “Based on this, we expect that the CSTO member states will make joint efforts to further improve these mechanisms, which will undoubtedly serve the further development of cooperation between member states, as well as the strengthening of the relevant structures and mechanisms of the Organization,” Pashinyan said.
